I love to see the ways in which textures, shapes & colours of glass manipulate the light - how it’s light itself bringing glass to life.

This is me,
Penelope (Penny) Elliott.

I‘ve been an artist for most of my life, across both commercial and recreational endeavours.

In 2008 I became thoroughly enchanted— and only slightly addicted to working with glass as a medium for art. I love experimenting with the colours and textures of glass— both antique or modern, to create deep, detailed & often very complex pieces.

As soon as I started, I felt a drive to learn and do more with it. Now, working from our home-built studio, I employ a mixture of stained glass techniques, including both traditional leadlight & the Tiffany foiling methods… as well as a few of my own tricks.

The scale & scope of work produced from my studio ranges from designing and crafting bespoke client commissions, to developing new small, medium and large scale concepts, to creating one-off works for sale at a multitude of local artisan markets across Perth and soon to be, ‘Online’.

…I also love to teach this time-honoured skill to anyone willing through my regular Possums Run Studio Workshops!

So please, reach out! - Send an email, call me, or if we’ve met before, pop on by for a visit… Always best let me know you’re coming though, so I can get the kettle on!!
