Discover the artistry and magic of stained glass in this engaging Kaleidoscope Workshop.
In this full day, hands-on class, students will create a fully-functioning stained glass kaleidoscope featuring internal mirrors and a coloured spin-wheel.
With a selection of pre-cut glass provided, participants will learn essential techniques including mirror assembly, 3D construction with jigs, copper foiling, soldering, and finishing the colour wheel with a lead came edge.
Each student will leave with a finished kaleidoscope, approximately 20 centimetres long with a ~7.6 centimetre coloured glass spin-wheel.
Prerequisites:
Due to the more advanced techniques and pacing of this full-day workshop, we kindly ask that any prospective attendees participate in an introductory Saturday Workshop with us first.
